Acts of Reparation (2024)

Role: Co-Editor with Natasha Mottola

Project Description: Macky Alston and Selina Lewis Davidson, friends and filmmaking partners for 25 years, white and Black, set out to explore the possibility for reparations in the United States. Together they discover and follow grassroots initiatives intended to heal the historic harm of slavery and Native American genocide – all the while asking each other tough questions about what is possible – in families, communities and our nation.

Details: Working in collaboration with Natasha Mottola to screen & select dailies and edit all scenes throughout the film. Imported, synced, and organized media such as original footage & archival assets.

Out of the Picture (2023)

Role: Cinematographer

Project Description: Out of the Picture is a feature-length film about art critics living through a period of transformation for both art and media. Not only has the art world changed, with long lines for Instagrammable art shows, a worldwide proliferation of biennials, mind-boggling art market records and hashtag-driven discourses. Art’s place in the world has changed, too. 

Details: Served as cameraperson on 10+ shoots for key interview & verité scenes.

Love & Stuff (2022) (PBS)

Project Description: Seven months after helping her terminally ill mother have a “good death” in home-hospice, filmmaker Judith Helfand becomes a “new old” single mother at 50.

Relative (2022) (Field of Vision)

Role: Assistant Editor

Project Description: When filmmaker Tracey Arcabasso Smith confronts her childhood sexual abuse, she unearths a pervasive history of multigenerational abuse in her seemingly-idyllic family, forcing her to make an impossible decision: to stay silent and let the cycle continue, or to speak up and risk losing the family she loves.

Details: Assisted in delivering final elements to post-houses.

(RE) Motel (2022) (Discovery)

Role: Assistant Editor (Season 2)

Project Description: Passionate motel owners across America restore and redesign their historic properties to give them new life and create destination stops for a new generation of travelers.

Details: Imported, synced, and organized media for editors for every episode of Season 2.

Randy Killings (2021) (Dir. Xavier Cousens)

Project Description: A short profile documenting the relationship between the non-profit organization, Project Renewal and Randy Killings, a man who has struggled with substance abuse and incarceration for most of his adult life.

HUSTLE (2021) (Dir. Xavier Cousens)

Project Description: HUSTLE is a short verité documentary inside the world of Anthony Johnson, a work release recipient, who spends his days as a courier in New York City and his nights incarcerated.

Details: Received $1,000 grant from National Academy of Arts and Sciences. Screened at the St. Louis Int’l Film Festival, Woodshole Film Festival, Cucalorus Film Festival, and Buffalo Int’l Film Festival.

The Vow (2020) (HBO)

Role: Production Assistant

Project Description: The Vow, a NXIVM documentary series following a number of people deeply involved in the self-improvement group NXIVM over the course of several years. The Vow is a story of indoctrination and the step-by-step journey of NXIVM members defecting and outing Keith Reniere.

Details: Assisted in research and field production on HBO Documentary series about the controversial NXIVM group directed by Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer from March 2018 to June 2019.

MIDNIGHT FAMILY (2019) (1091 Media)

Role: Social Media Assistant

Project Description: In Mexico City's wealthiest neighborhoods, the Ochoa family runs a private ambulance, competing with other for-profit EMTs for patients in need of urgent help.

Details: Worked with director Luke Lorentzen and producer Kellen Quinn to boost their presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for their 2020 Oscar shortlisted feature documentary.

THE GREAT HACK (2019) (Netflix)

Role: Archival Researcher

Project Description: An Oscar Shortlisted and BAFTA nominated feature documentary following the Cambridge Analytica-Facebook scandal.

Details: Worked from pre to post-production to spearhead archival research and collection of 3,000+ documents, photos, and videos. Assisted in field production alongside directors Jehane Noujaim & Karim Amer. Mentored college interns.


AFTERWARD (2018) (1091 Media)

Role: Festival Coordinator

Project Description: Jerusalem-born trauma expert Ofra Bloch forces herself to confront her personal demons in a journey that takes her to Germany, Israel and Palestine. Set against the current wave of fascism and anti-Semitism sweeping the globe, AFTERWARD delves into the secret wounds carried by victims as well as victimizers, through testimonies ranging from the horrifying to the hopeful.

Details: Researched, applied, and headed screening logistics and outreach with organizations like the UN, The Utah Film Center, DOC NYC, CIFF, San Francisco JFF, Sarasota FF, and Santa Barbara IFF
